Lia Criscuolo - Strings & Piano
Lia is currently in her fourth year of studies at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a double major in Music Education and Cello Performance. She has also added a Minor of Music History. A cellist of 13 years, she is the principal cellist of the WCU Symphony Orceshtra, and participates in the WCU Cello Ensemble. She is currently under the tutelage of Dr. Ovidiu Marinescu and has received training from Janifer Dixon, Peter Brye and Jesus Morales. In addition to cello, violin and viola, Lia has been studying piano for over 10 years. A curious musician, Lia has been playing the viola da gamba in WCU's Collegium Musicum for four semester, and has been taking private lessons for two semesters. Lia finds great joy in teaching students not only how to refine their skills on their instruments, but to love making music and using it as an emotional outlet.
Samantha DiPompeo - Piano, Brass & Voice
Samantha graduated from Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance with her BS in Music Educaiton, Voice Concentration. During her time at Temple, she played French Horn in the Wind Ensemble and performed with Temple's Concert Choir. Beyond Performance, her passion is sharing her love of music. She currently teaches K-6 General Music in a Philadelphia Charter School, and serves as Section Leader at Arch Street United Methodist Church in Center City.
Christina Fish - Piano & Woodwinds
Christina attended Rowan University on scholarship, and holds a Bachelor's in Music with a concentrations in oboe, clarinet and piano. In 2005, she soloed with the University Orchestra as the winner of the Rowan Concerto Competition. Christina studied piano and woodwind pedagogy while remaining an active member of the University's MENC chapter. She has worked as a freelance musician throughout the region since 2004, including Principal Oboe for the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. Christina serves in the pit orchestra at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman on oboe/english horn/clarinet. She currently works in an elementary school helping children with special needs.
Stephan Hayes- Piano & Strings WOW! Stephan is a life long musician, specializing in guitar, strings and piano. He received his Kodaly Certifcation from Gerald Joseph in Guangzhou, China and his Orff Certifiation from University of the Arts. After receiving his certifications, Stephan served as a music teacher at an International School in Guangzhou, China. An avid performer and composer, Stephan has performed with bands, which opened for Dave Matthews and India Arie, and has made appearances at the Kimmel Center, Susquehanna Center, The World Cafe Live and TLA.
Chris Schutz- Guitar & Piano & Voice Learn from an incredible performer! Chris has been teaching music lessons for close to twenty years since moving from his hometown of Kansas City to the East Coast. In addition to his passion for teaching bass, guitar and ukulele, Chris continues to tour, record and perform with a number of ensembles both in Philadelphia and across the United States. He holds a degree in Music Composition from the Community College of Philadelphia in addition to studying Music Theory at the Boyer School at Temple University.
Steve Canale- Piano
Look who was on Saturday Night Live! Steve is a graduate of both Weslyan University and Temple University, completing graduate studies in music . Steve brings over 20 years of experience as a Music Teacher in Public Schools in New York and Pennsylvania. An accomplished pianist, Steve has appeared on Saturday Night Live, accompanied on Broadway and served as accompanist for the esteemed Danitra Vance & Mello-O-White. Steve can be heard performing at local churches and and serves as Club Pianist at Shannondell at Valley Forge.
Sean O'Leary- Piano It's no wonder students LOVE Sean! An incredible jazz pianist, Sean makes lessons fun and creative. Sean studied music production and technology with a focus on jazz and contemporary music at the University of Hartford?s Hart School of Music. His combined knowledge of music performance and studio recording give him a unique perspective on what it takes to be a modern musician. Sean has been a student of piano since the age of eight, and in college had the opportunity to study with jazz legends Andy LaVerne and Nat Reeves. Since graduating, he passes his love and knowledge of music on to his students.
Adam Haines - Founder & Teacher
Adam founded Mobile Music in 2008, as a way to share his passion for music and the arts with his community. Adam presently teaches music in a public school on the Main Line, serves as Organist/Choirmaster at Arch Street UMC, and continues to perform in solo and collaborative settings. Adam has studied piano since the age of 5, and holds a Bachelor's in Music Education with concentrations in Piano and Voice from West Chester University, a Master's of Education from Cabrini College and completed graduate studies at UArts. Adam has released two albums of original compositions, Divine Whispers in 2005, Intersessions in 2016, and continues to compose. Adam grew Mobile Music on the belief that the arts are essential to full and well-rounded life, and to bring music to you.
Sydney Lamoureaux- Piano, Woodwinds & Brass - A pianist of 13 years and professional accompanist, Sydney loves making music fun for her students. A student at Temple University, Sydney is receiving her degree in Music Education with a concentration in Piano. She has accompanied musicals including Footloose and Shrek, is a member of Temple's Diamond Marching Band. Sydney has performed at the Kimmel Center and across Europe. Sydney combines her passion for music, theater and travel when working with her students, and hopes to create a lifelong love of music in her students.
Lia Menaker- Piano & Voice - A singer, songwriter and pianist Lia can be heard in local pop/rock music venues around Philadelphia. Lia holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State, and has performed in regional theaters around the country. Lia's performaces have been licensed to TV networks, including MTV, E! and Netflix. Lia passionately infuses creativity into her lessons, whether through interactive games, worksheets or songwritng exercises. She loves finding unique ways for her students to express themselves and conenct to the music they make.
Rachel Lee- Piano - Winner of the Rachmanioff Grand Prix Prize in the 2017 Triumph Music Festival, the Silver Prize in thte YCVT Competition and Alternate in the MTNA Competition, Rachel is an accomplished pianist and teacher. As much as she loves to perform, her biggest aspiration is to teach and to motivate future pianists, by fostering a love and passion for music. Rachel is completing a degree in Piano Performace at West Chester Univesrity, under the tutelage of Dr. Igor Resnianski.
Ben Rogers-Petro - Piano With no doubts that music is his passion, Ben is a Music Theory Major with Piano Concentration at Temple University. Ben began taking piano lessons with his brother when he was six, and now studies the instrument with Mikhail Yanovitsky, while his brother pursues a rap career. Ben's primary instrument is piano, but he is well versed in violin, guitar and strings. Ben can be heard at local churches, playing live at events and also frequents as a wedding musician. Ben is enthusiastic about music and is excited to share his deep love for music with students, while having fun along the way.
David Williams - Piano Bringing a wealth of educational experience and musical excellence to you, David is a very enthusiastic about sharing his passion for music. David received his BA in Music Education from West Chester University, and hold sGraduate Music Degrees from Temple, Trenton State and Villanova Universities. David spent years teaching music in the Public School System in Lower Merion, Upper Merion and Springfield, prior to teaching English in China for 7 years. David has served as an accompanist to Shawnee Press, Liturgical Organist and Choir Master and as a professional vocalist. Playing the piano bas been a lifelong passion of David's and he is thrilled to share his love of music with his students.
