Meet The Instructors...

Samantha DiPompeo - Piano, Brass & Voice
Samantha graduated from Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance with her BS in Music Educaiton, Voice Concentration. During her time at Temple, she played French Horn in the Wind Ensemble and performed with Temple's Concert Choir. Beyond Performance, her passion is sharing her love of music. She currently teaches K-6 General Music in a Philadelphia Charter School, and serves as Section Leader at Arch Street United Methodist Church in Center City.

Christina Fish - Piano & Woodwinds
Christina attended Rowan University on scholarship, and holds a Bachelor's in Music with a concentrations in oboe, clarinet and piano. In 2005, she soloed with the University Orchestra as the winner of the Rowan Concerto Competition. Christina studied piano and woodwind pedagogy while remaining an active member of the University's MENC chapter. She has worked as a freelance musician throughout the region since 2004, including Principal Oboe for the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. Christina serves in the pit orchestra at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman on oboe/english horn/clarinet. She currently works in an elementary school helping children with special needs.

Chris Schutz- Bass, Guitar, Piano & Voice Learn from an incredible performer! Chris has been teaching music lessons for close to twenty years since moving from his hometown of Kansas City to the East Coast.  In addition to his passion for teaching bass, guitar and ukulele, Chris continues to tour, record and perform with a number of ensembles both in Philadelphia and across the United States.  He holds a degree in Music Composition from the Community College of Philadelphia in addition to studying Music Theory at the Boyer School at Temple University. 

Steve Canale- Piano 
Look who was on Saturday Night Live! Steve is a graduate of both Weslyan University and Temple University, completing graduate studies in music .  Steve brings over 20 years of experience as a Music Teacher in Public Schools in New York and Pennsylvania. An accomplished pianist, Steve has appeared on Saturday Night Live, accompanied on Broadway and served as accompanist for the esteemed Danitra Vance & Mello-O-White.  Steve can be heard performing at local churches and and serves as Club Pianist at Shannondell at Valley Forge.  

Sean O'Leary- Piano It's no wonder students LOVE Sean! An incredible jazz pianist, Sean makes lessons fun and creative.  Sean studied music production and technology with a focus on jazz and contemporary music at the University of Hartford Hart School of Music. His combined knowledge of music performance and studio recording give him a unique perspective on what it takes to be a modern musician. Sean has been a student of piano since the age of eight, and in college had the opportunity to study with jazz legends Andy LaVerne and Nat Reeves. Since graduating, he passes his love and knowledge of music on to his students.

Adam Haines - Founder & Teacher

Adam founded Mobile Music in 2008, as a way to share his passion for music and the arts with his community. Adam presently teaches music in a public school on the Main Line, serves as Organist/Choirmaster at Arch Street UMC, and continues to perform in solo and collaborative settings. Adam has studied piano since the age of 5, and holds a Bachelor's in Music Education with concentrations in Piano and Voice from West Chester University, a Master's of Education from Cabrini College and completed graduate studies at UArts. Adam has released two albums of original compositions, Divine Whispers in 2005, Intersessions in 2016, and continues to compose. Adam grew Mobile Music on the belief that the arts are essential to full and well-rounded life, and to bring music to you.

Lia Menaker- Piano & Voice - A  singer, songwriter and pianist Lia can be heard in local pop/rock music venues around Philadelphia.  Lia holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State, and has performed in regional theaters around the country.  Lia's performaces have been licensed to TV networks, including MTV, E! and Netflix.  Lia passionately infuses creativity into her lessons, whether through interactive games, worksheets or songwritng exercises. She loves finding unique ways for her students to express themselves and conenct to the music they make.

Ben Rogers-Petro - Piano With no doubts that music is his passion, Ben is a Music Theory Major with Piano Concentration at Temple University.  Ben began taking piano lessons with his brother when he was six, and now studies the instrument with Mikhail Yanovitsky, while his brother pursues a rap career.  Ben's primary instrument is piano, but he is well versed in violin, guitar and strings.  Ben can be heard at local churches, playing live at events and also frequents as a wedding musician. Ben is enthusiastic about music and is excited to share his deep love for music with students, while having fun along the way.  

Maria Dell'Orefice - Piano & Strings
Maria holds a BA in Piano Performance from Baylor Univesrity, and is continuing graduate studies at Temple with Dr. Charles Abramovic.  Maria thoroughly enjoys performing solo and champer music, and has extensive accompanying experience.  She recently performed Oliver Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. Maria has studied violin since the age of 8, and position as Principal Second Violin in the Philadelphia Youth Symphony, and served violinist and pianist for the Baylor Symphony Orchestra and violinist in the Waco Symphony Orchestra. Maria has extensive experience teaching students of all ages, and enjoys guiding them towards a greater understanding of music by having fun with their instrument. 

Ellen Ford - Voice
Ellen LOVES teaching voice, and brings a wealth of knowledge with over 10 years of vocal experience. Ellen graduated from Temple University in 2017, where she studied Music Education and Opera, and has extensive performance and acting exerpience throughout her musical careeer.  Ellen currently teaches in a Public School System, and can often be seen singing the national anthem at The Devon Horse Show every year.  Ellen's greatest passion is sharing her love of singing with her students.

Ashwin Suseendran- Guitar & Piano  Passionate about all things music and Philadelphia, Ashwin pursues his Bachelor's in Music Education and Jazz Studies at Temple University, with a minor in Geography and Urban Studies.  He works to inspire youth of the greater Philadelphia area to love learning music.  Trained in classical jazz, and contemporary piano for 15 years, Ashwin has given piano performances at venues ranging from the French Consulate in New York City to Arcadia University Presidential Inauguration.  Ashwin strives to make music relatable to his students based on their unique areas of interest.  in fact it was through learning arrangements of Nintendo video game theme music that he first started to love making music.  Ashwin serves as a music teacher at Isaac Shepherd Elementary school as part of the Philly Pops Project, and is excited to bring his love of music to the students of Mobile Music.

Justin Oquendo- Piano & Woodwind received a BA in Commerical Music and Saxophone Performance with minors in Jazz Studies and Audio Engineering from Kutztown University.  Studying under notable pianists Neal Kirkwood and Daniel Immel and Broadway performer Adam Koller, Justin enjoys teaching classical and modern genres. Justin continues to play professionally in a variety of ensembles in Philadelphia and enjoys getting his students excited about music!

Steve Kramer- Cello, Strings and Piano Hailing from Denmark, Steve's passion for music is envigorating.  The recipient of numerous awards, including the Jacob Gade Foundation's 36th Grand Prize and Gold Medal in the National Music Competition of the Berlingske Music Competition, Steve brings a high calibur of musicianship for his students to learn from.  Excelling as a chamber musician and soloist, Steve has premiered at The Barnes Foundation, Kimmel Center and Radio City Music Hall among other prestigious performance venues.  Steve's greatest joy is sharing his love of music with his students. 

Daniel Clark- Bass, Drums & Guitar  
Get ready to Rock with this "guitar guru" who holds a Masters of Education from Temple, and has been playing guitar since elementary.  Dan loved music so much be went on to learn several instruments.  Dan can be heard playing  local Philly based bands as well as solo, with styles including rock, folk, punk and country.  A former Reading Teacher in Philadelphia, he is thrilled to be passing on his rock'n musicianship to the next generation of maestros.
